The Division of Multilingual Learners (DML) would like to invite you to register to attend this culminating event, Amplifying Multilingual Voices and Learning in K-12 Education: A CR-SE Knowledge and Language Building Project on Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at 3:00-5:00PM. As a result of continuous collaboration with Latinx, Asian and Arabic educators and their students, community-based organizations, CUNY, local and nationwide museums and nonprofits, we will introduce a CR-SE Knowledge and Language-Building Project-Based Learning (PBL) design and engage participants in dialogue, centering the following question:
- Why is it essential that we amplify the voices of multilingual learners, their families and communities to amplify learning in K-12 education? Why language development through History and civic engagement?
The New York City Department of Education is an approved sponsor of Continuing Teacher and Leader Education (CTLE). Important: In order to receive certificate of completion for CTLE, all questions must be answered. Participants without a valid File/EIS number or NYCDOE email will not receive CTLE credits or certificate of completion.
