Children Living in Undocumented Families: Developmental, Educational, Legal, and Familial Implications

Our distinguished panelists will talk about the implication for children growing up with undocumented or in mixed-status homes. Carola Suárez-Orozco will present on key findings from the Society for Research on Adolescence Consensus Report on developmental and educational implication. Iván Espinoza-Madriga will present about pressing and emerging legal realities for these children and youth. Sarah Rendón-Garcia will discuss how caregivers decide what and when to reveal about family status and how children come to understand these realities.
