Closing reception for Arte Sin Fronteras: The Evolution of a Houston Graffiti Artist featuring a full art installation by Mario E. Figueroa, Jr., artistically known as GONZO247. The exhibition reflects and analyzes the evolution of his journey through layers of time. Pivotal, and personal historical moments in time are translated into works of art using spray painted acrylic layers; a concept he calls Plexigraff. Arranging past works juxtaposed with current painted plexiglass work, the artist peels back the layers of time and discovery to reveal a road less traveled as a Houston graffiti artist. Closing reception is Saturday, April 13, 2019 from 6 – 9 pm.
