OLLAS Charla “Accomplishments and Challenges of Women in the Workplace”

FreePlease join the UNO’s Office of Latino/Latin American Studies (OLLAS) for the second OLLAS Charla of the Spring 2021 semester on Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at 6:00 PM. This charla will feature three panelists including: Liz Codina, Community Investment Officer for Peter Kiewit Foundation, Dulce Sherman, Owner and Chief Advisor of Sherman Executive Consulting, Cristina Castro-Matukewicz, Community Affairs Vice-President for Wells Fargo, and our very own Yuriko Doku, OLLAS Assistant Director as moderator.
This virtual panel will take a deeper look at the accomplishments and challenges women face in the workplace. Topics will range from gender pay gap, women role models, workplace policies, and more. You don’t want to miss this engaging conversation!
About the OLLAS Charla Series
The name of the series, Charla, means “chat” in English. Established in 2003, the series was created to engage the UNO and greater Omaha community in informed and informal conversations about Latino and Latin American related issues. Each event in the series is free and open to the public.
