Professor Rivas-Rodriguez is a former journalist and Director of the Voces Oral History Center, documenting experiences within the Latino community. Pamplin’s research focuses on low-income, black community members in Houston and their interactions with the healthcare system. Join the live-stream event to hear both women discuss public history and racial health disparities during the COVID-19 pandemic.
