Story Time & Book Launch: Josefina’s Habichuelas

November 6 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm

Join Jasminne Mendez in a bilingual story time for the launch of her debut poetry kids book “Josefina’s Habichuelas/Las habichuelas de Josefina.” Josefina loves to eat sweets! But can she give them up for 40 days and 40 nights? And if she does will it be worth it? Join Jasminne and Josefina as they celebrate their Dominican heritage and journey towards a deeper understanding of what it means “enjoy the sweeter things in life.” If you love sweets, singing, baking, or breaking bread with family and friends then this book will satisfy your cravings.
