Tour of Chicago’s Pilsen Neighborhood for Latino Studies Majors/Minors
Joins us as we take a trip to explore Chicago’s Pilsen neighborhood, a traditionally Mexican-American section of Chicago’s near South Side.
Our itinerary begins with a visit to local Chicagoland advocacy group and longtime ILS partner, the Coaliton for Spiritual and Public Leadership.
Then we’ll go to to the National Museum of Mexican Art. Dinner will follow at local mainstay Taquería Los Comales. Afterwards, we’ll take a tour of Pilsens’ famous street murals.
Vans will leave from Bond Hall at 12 pm EST. The estimated return time is 10:30 pm EST.
This event is for Latino Studies Majors and Minors. Limited space is available.
